About Elmo

Elmo was founded in 1948 and has had a different owner images over the years. Today, the company is privately owned with local roots and a clear focus on growth The company strenght is custom made electric motors for the OEM market. Elmo is a strong brand within the commercial washing machine industry. The low voltage AC motor for fork truck applications was developed by Elmo in the late 1990’s. Elmo has also, together with a robotmanufacturer, developed and manufaktured over 100,000 servo motor in varying sizes.

Today we have a production capacity of approximately 200 motor per day, machineryand premises permit a doubling ..
